Team members celebrated World Cleanup Day at Zoo Lake in Johannesburg, South Africa by taking action to clean up local parks and benches, showcasing their dedication to making a positive impact on the environment. Bringing reusable bags, our volunteers collected plastic bottles and various litter scattered around the area. This simple yet meaningful act demonstrated our commitment to sustainable practices and dedication to eco-friendly solutions. The primary goal was to raise awareness about the environmental impact of waste by actively engaging the community in hands-on efforts to build a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Their commitment was truly inspiring, and at CrossCountry, we are proud to support their efforts to give back to the community and promote global sustainability. We strive to foster a workplace culture that emphasizes belonging, giving back, and creating a positive experience for everyone, our goal is to attract, develop, and retain talented individuals who are passionate about making a difference and commit to sustainable principles. As part of our ongoing alignment with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, we ensure that each volunteer initiative contributes to an impactful, purpose-driven culture.
