Pelican International sought to implement NetSuite to fuel growth and improve customer experience. But after purchasing the ERP platform, transitioning accounting records and migrating key data wasn’t as seamless as expected.
Bridging processes onto NetSuite while maintaining day-to-day operations proved a significant challenge and more hands-on implementation support was needed to successfully make the pivot to NetSuite.
How We Helped
A team of NetSuite specialists was brought in to assess what had been completed so far and decide on the best remediation plan to course-correct. The core issues preventing a full implementation became apparent quickly, so the team began a new cycle of implementation to meet Pelican’s requirements. This end-to-end diagnostic enabled the project to begin in alignment with the Pelican team and their use case.
Alongside the remediation, Pelican’s SuiteCommerce site was stood up, which included redesigning associated processes and anchoring the build in improving customer experience.

Results
Pelican is now able to leverage the full capabilities of NetSuite in service of their customer base. Free from past technology constraints, the company has its eyes on even faster growth in the future.
When asked to compare the difference between NetSuite before and after partnering with us, an executive at Pelican Int’l offered, “There’s no way we would’ve gotten to the point we’re at now with NetSuite without your help. It’s a night and day difference.”
